- Cover your cracked heels in petroleum jelly, cover them with plastic wrap, and put on a pair of socks overnight. You should see improvement in 3 nights.
- Right after you step out of the shower, pat skin dry and apply your moisturizer to retain the water your skin just absorbed. A glycerin- or hyaluronic acid-based moisturizer can increase the amount of water that’s drawn into your skin. Just check the label on your current moisturizer. Baby oil (mineral oil) is also a good option, because it prevents water from evaporating from your skin.
- The pro trick to getting rid of nasty calluses is to buff your feet with a pumice stone or file you soak them since dry skin sloughs off easier than wet skin. I have a product that is similar to 'Ped Egg' and it is amazing for sloughing off dead skin. When you're done, dunk your soles for at least 20 minutes in warm water.
- Once a month, treat your feet to a homemade spa treatment. Soak in a mixture of 2 cups fresh-mashed pineapple, 2 cups fresh-mashed papaya, and 2 cups hot milk. After 20 minutes, rinse off and apply a rich foot cream.

I absolutely hate my feet right now, so I am loving this post! I have a pedi coming up on Saturday but maybe I will do some homework BEFORE I go - just so I don't gross anyone out in there!!!
