Yellow Nails? Quick Fixes

Even if you take great care of your nails, they can sometimes turn yellow. It can happen from wearing a lot of  nail  polish, smoking, spending a lot of time in the sun without sunscreen on your hands and nails, or a sign of a medical condition. If it is the latter, you should get checked out by a doctor.

Here are a couple tips to whiten those yellow tips and toes.

- Try using a whitening toothpaste. Scrub your nails with the toothpaste. After a few times, it should remove any stains and help make your nails shine.

- Soak your nails in water that has lemon juiced added or lemon slices. For 1 cup of water, add 1/4 cup lemon juice, or the slices of one lemon. The lemon acts as an astringent and will strip the stains. Dry your hands and apply a clear top coat.

This is sooo helpful! I find that after I wear red or coral polish my nails look so yellow and I don't want to go bare nailed because it looks awful! I'm excited to try these tips!
