Two cocktail recipes in two days? I think I may. It's Friday, and this grapefruit cocktail sounds just too refreshing not to share! I'm sure you won't mind having two delicious cocktail posts in a row to mark down in your recipe box or Pinterest board.
Grapefruit Margarita
1.5 ounce tequila
1 ounce of Cointreau (use Triple Sec if you're on a budget)
3/4 fresh squeezed lime juice
2 squeezes of a grapefruit
1 squeeze of a lemon
Optional: margarita salt
Use a lime to rim your glass & add salt to half of the rim. In a martini shaker add lime juice, grapefruit, and lemon, then add Cointreau (or Triple Sec ), & tequila. Add ice to shaker (you don't want the ice to melt into your ingredients, so do this last.) Add ice to rimmed glass & shake and strain your cocktail over the ice. Garnish with a grapefruit slice or lime wheel.
