Women We Love in their 30s: Baby Announcements

I like writing these posts about celebrities in their 30s having healthy and happy babies. It makes me feel better about my own situation and putting off children until we are ready. However, I am happy to announce that I have officially started to take prenatal vitamins! You might not think that is a big deal, but for me it shows the commitment to start getting my body ready to start trying in a few months. I think I am finally ready to be a mom. It is scary but I am ready. I have every intention of posting all about my journey through pregnancy, but this will not turn into a Mommy blog. I think it will just be an added accent to my blog that many women in their 30s can relate to.

So I am excited to start my journey and share my experience with all of you. In the mean time, I will live vicariously through these ladies in their 30s who have announced their pregnancy or baby births.

It has been a busy week!

The Dictator star, 35, and the Parks and Recreation actor, 33, welcomed a son, Jack on August 25, 2012.

"Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack," her rep says. "He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time."

Anna and Chris were married in 2009.

So happy for Giuliana and Bill Rancic who are finally parents!
The couple welcomed their first child, son Edward Duke Rancic, via gestational surrogate at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday in Denver, Colorado, E! News confirms.

"Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives," Giuliana, 37, tells E!. "Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!"

Giuliana and Bill were in the delivery room with the delivery only lasting about our hours. Bill, 41, was allowed to cut the umbilical cord and Giuliana, 37, teared up as she was the first to hold her new son Edward.

 "G and I feel blessed beyond words," Bill tweeted. "We did it!"

Giuliana and Bill have been very open with fans on their reality show Giuliana and Bill about their four, painful years of struggling to conceive, which included failed IVF treatments and a miscarriage.
Late last summer, Giuliana was going to undergo another round of IVF when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She decided to have a double mastectomy and is currently cancer free.

Dean McDermott, 45, and Tori Spelling, 39 welcomed baby Finn Davey on Thursday. The couple, who wed in May 2006, chose to keep their fourth baby's gender a surprise until birth.

"I can't wait to see you, and hold you, and tell you I love you," Dean wrote.  "I can't wait to snuggle and take naps with you. I can't wait to tell you that I will protect you and care for you every minute of every day. For the rest of your life."

The couple now have two of each gender to round out their family. Finn's older siblings are brother Liam Aaron, 5, and sisters Stella Doreen, 4, and Hattie Margaret, who turns one in October.

Holly Madison, 33, star of "Peepshow," a burlesque show on the Las Vegas strip, confirmed on her Twitter account Wednesday that she and her boyfriend Pasquale Rotella, 38, are expecting a baby.

"It's true!" Hunter tweeted, having retweeted a post from gossip reporter Perez Hilton, who had tweeted "Congrats!!!!! RT OMG!! Holly Madison Is Pregnant!!!"

Holly is only 12 weeks along, and, for now, she’s dealing with the the beginning of pregnancy.

“I’ve been lucky! No morning sickness, but I do get a little nauseous,” says the Peepshow star. “It happens before my show, so I keep ginger ale backstage.”
