How To Use Fashion To Elevate Your Look and Mood

June 11, 2026 By Erin Kennedy Leave a Comment

Have you ever noticed that when you think you look good, you feel good, too? Fashion and how you style yourself every day can have a direct impact on your overall well-being. You feel powerful, put-together, on trend, and in control when you use fashion to level up your look and mood. Continue reading to learn how you can make better fashion choices and make them work for you.

Focus on the Jewelry
Have you ever caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror wearing a beautiful chain around your neck? Or perhaps your earrings dangled just so. The extra shine made you feel special. Or maybe the sparkle from the way the light catches the facets on a gorgeous diamond ring just makes everything better.

You never have to wait for someone else to give you the gift of jewelry. You can do it for yourself. Shop for exclusive luxury rings that will easily enhance anything you wear and make any activity you partake in amazing.

Pay Attention to the Fit
Paying attention to how something fits is just as impactful as what you wear. If an item is bulky by design, so be it. However, if it is bulky because it does not fit your frame, you can either pass it on or have it tailored to fit your unique body. A seamstress or tailor will make clothing sit on your body as it was designed to, instead of just covering it. When something fits you as it should, you look better and can stand taller knowing that you look great.

If you feel drawn to the discount rack or fast fashion because of the prices, that makes sense. Unfortunately, just because something is inexpensive does not make it a good deal for your wallet or your body. Ill-fitting or poorly designed clothing does not serve you well. Instead, opt for pieces that will stand the test of time, even if they cost a bit more. They will look better and last longer.

Be Beautiful Everywhere You Go
Of course, you do not have to put on a full face of makeup to go put gas in your car or pop into the grocery store for some eggs, but you can. If makeup, clothing, jewelry, and great shoes are your armor, go for it in style.

If being put together completes your mood and helps you feel better about yourself, why not lean into it? Just remember that it is a choice, not a requirement.

Take inspiration from the rugby pro Ilona Maher and apply your favorite red lipstick before a sweat session at the gym. Take a dip in your local pool with a new hairdo and a great bikini. Be the person you want to be and move throughout the world with confidence. That is beautiful.

Envision yourself decked out in luxurious rings and other jewelry. Wear clothing that fits your body and moves with it. And use fashion to enhance your mood. You get to choose how you look on any given day. Make the most of it and do what makes you feel good.
