DIY Sea Salt Hair Spritzer

February 20, 2014 By Erin Kennedy 1 Comment

Have you ever seen or used the sea salt hair spritzer that you can purchase? I personally was not sure what they were for, but I soon found out that they can give you a beautiful look of wavy, bouncy beach curls.

But, why not get those sexy waves by making your own sea salt Spritzer? It is super easy and can turn your straight hair into a wavy style.

This also might be a fab option for when you are running late, but still want to have cute hair.

Besides just looking great with this look, sea salt is actually really good for your hair. It has 26 minerals that give your hair softness and body that we are all looking for.

What you need:

2 cups warm water
1 tsp of sea salt
1 tsp olive oil or coconut oil
1/2 tsp hair gel to help hold onto hair
spray bottle

1. Add all of your ingredients to your spray bottle and add water.
2. Shake it!
3. Spray sea salt spray onto damp hair.
4. Section off hair and twist and scrunch upward until a wave begins to form.
5. Let it dry naturally.
6. Or you can also use a diffuser for a more tousled look.

Just keep in mind not to do this style of hair everyday. The salt can dry out your hair if you use it too often. But this is a great option for those once-in-awhile sexy tousled hair days musts.

Thank you for the tip! I have never tried a salt spritzer for my hair, like you I have never really understood what they are for. Now that I know might just give your recipe for one a try!
