Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips

March 30, 2011 By Erin Kennedy 4 Comments

Sally Hansen has come out with an ingenious product. I am actually surprised that more nail companies have not come out with this fantastic concept.
These are nail strips that are a sticker that is applied directly on your nail, smoothed out and filed down to fit perfectly around your nail. No drying time at all. This is perfect for a busy mom, or for the gal that doesn’t have a lot of time to wait on drying or make it to the salon. These strips come in so many styles to choose from and I actually think it would be perfect for an at-home pedi now that spring is “officially” here. Bringing a little style other than a basic color. I love the flowers and the lace.
Can be found at drugstores for about $10.00 and includes 16 strips. The strips are long so you can actually use 2 nails for 1 strip so it is totally worth the cost. It claims to last for 10 days. That might make it worth it in itself. 24 styles and comes off with nail polish remover! Can these be any more nail-tastic?

Does it chip less than regular nail polish? My days with polished nails are always cut short because I’m the Queen of Chipped Polish.

These are great! I bought one set to try them out and the definitely lasted the promised 10 days w/ no chipping at all. I took them off eventually because I was getting nail “roots.” Have now stocked up on a few more designs, since the stores seem to be sold out of these all the time!
