When Girl Meets 30

17 Easy Celebrity Beauty Tips You Can Start Doing Today

July 31, 2014 By Erin Kennedy 1 Comment

I always wonder how celebs always look fresh faced and amazing all the time. I know they have secrets, and have learned a thing or two from their makeup artists. I want to know what they know. Here are 17 ladies and what they do to look fabulous. The best part about these secrets is that they are all realistic, and you can start doing them today.

  • Jessica Alba

A great face scrub is to use yogurt, ground coffee and coconut oil. Mix it all up, leave it on as long as you want and it will really exfoliate and hydrate your skin," Jessica explained in an interview on Good Morning America. "It's great because all this stuff is out of your kitchen and you can just put it all together and create your very own beauty spa!"

  • Fergie

Keeps her hair silky and gorgeous with Moroccan Argon Oil for hair. "I put it up in a bun with the product in. It’s good for the hair because it makes it so shiny. I take it out of the bun and then I have nice beach waves.”

  • RuPaul

“Use an eyelash curler before you put the (false) eyelashes on, that will support the lash. Also, If you clip them into four different pieces it makes it easier to apply the lashes. Most people cant put the whole strip on at once. Sometimes its hard to do one strip at once.”

  • Kate Moss

    https://www.mythirtyspot.com/wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/katemoss.jpg

Admits to having three eyelash curlers. “I don’t feel complete without them, it’s one of those things. [The secret to a false lash look is] curling and then tons and tons and tons of mascara.”

  • Kate Winslet

"With a bright-red party lipstick, just go with lots of mascara and keep everything else clean. I love Lancôme’s L’Absolu Rouge lipstick, as it lasts. Unless you spend the whole night snogging, you won’t need to reapply it.'"

  • Kerry Washington

"Most important for me are drinking enough water, getting enough sleep, and I never go to bed with my makeup on — ever, ever, ever! And that’s huge. I feel like there are a lot of makeup remover wipes out there, but the Neutrogena Makeup Removal Wipes are so thorough, and you can really trust them to take care of your skin."

  • Kate Hudson

Dunks her face in an ice bath to revive her glow. How long does she keep her face submerged in the freezing water? “It depends how badly I want it.”

  • Mila Kunis

“Wash your face before you go to bed. And double your pillowcases. I learned that early. That and change them regularly.”

  • Beyonce

Uses Aquafor Healing Ointment for several beauty regimes. “It’s a healing ointment, but I use it to remove eye makeup, as a lip moisturizer and on my eyelids.”

  • Charlize Theron

“I simply wash my face with DiorSnow Foaming Cleanser and it removes absolutely everything. I rinse my face with cold water — I don’t believe in overzealous cleansing — and then I apply La Roche-Posay 50 sunblock, a bit of foundation and mascara and I’m out the door.”

  • Eva Longoria

“My collagen L’Oréal mascara! I wear fake eyelashes—that’s been my beauty tip since my pageant days.”

  • Miranda Kerr

Uses lip balm as a shimmery highlighter around her eyes - Try it! "This will work, just stick to a natural product. A lipgloss will clog your pores and will also be pretty sticky," says New York based makeup artist Stefanie Syat. Dab some plain lip balm on the inner corners of your eyes.

  • Amy Adams

"I can't wax because bad things happen. So I shave. I use Eucerin Calming Body Wash instead of shaving cream, and I don\'t get razor burn anymore. It's not its intended use, but I want to keep talking about it, because I'm afraid they'll discontinue it."

  • Shakira

Skips the adult SPF and goes straight for the baby formulas when it comes to protecting her sensitive skin from the sun. They are usually chemical free and hypoallergenic. Her go-to line? BabyGanics Cover-Up Baby Sun Care.

  • Kim Kardashian

A spoonful of sugar helps your skin glow, which is true. Kim adds the sweet stuff to her body wash "for a gentle exfoliating experience."

  • Rachel Bilson

Uses Vaseline to remove her makeup. "It just works really well—especially when you're removing eye makeup—and it's gentle on my skin."

  • Liv Tyler

"After applying foundation and a little blush, dust your face with translucent powder, then mist skin with a rosewater spray and lay a Kleenex over for a second. It makes your face seem flawless in a way that looks as if you aren't wearing any makeup."

Oh my gosh I love love love this post! It’s got such awesome advice in it! I think I would die happy if I ever got that celebrity glow! I know she’s not on this list but I am like obsessed with Shay Mitchell and I think she has just the best skin ever! I will definitely use some of these tips to help me try and steal her look! The only problem with me though, is that I really struggle with finding compatible brands that don’t irritate my skin because SO many ‘manufactured’ type products just cause me to break out and get all blotchy and gross (oh to not have to filter every photo of me to death). I was therefore wondering really if you knew of any natural type products I could use instead for this (bearing in mind I have super sensitive skin)? I’m actually currently using Forever Living products because they’re natural products and so work really well on my skin. Here’s a link to their Facebook page if you’re interested. However I’m still constantly on the lookout for different products (especially eye related products as that’s a super sensitive area for me) so any advice or recommendations you could give me would be massively appreciated!
