17 Ways to Prevent Wrinkles Right Now

Wrinkles, ugh, no thanks. I wish I knew the magic potion that kept them away for good, but now that we are in our 30s, it is the time they start rearing their ugly heads. However, there is many ways to keep them at bay, or even begin to make them not look as noticeable.

Here are 17 ways you can start preventing wrinkles today:

1. Stay out of the Sun and Tanning bed –  it is the #1 cause of wrinkles and premature aging.

2. Wear Sunscreen – Prevents those wrinkles and skin cancer.

4. But don’t over wash your face – Dermatologists have found that tap water strips your skin of natural oils and barriers that help to prevent wrinkles.

5. Soap. When washing your face, make sure you don’t use soap. Use  a cleanser so you don’t strip your skin’s natural moisture.

6. Get enough Sleep – When you don’t get enough sleep, your body produce cortisol, which can break down skin cells. More sleep produces HGH (human growth hormone) which helps skin remain thick and more elastic.

7. Sleep position – If possible, try to sleep on your back to avoid sleep lines that can etch in your skin over time.
