An avocado is known for its healthy fats and creaminess. They are highly rich source of iron, protein, potassium, amino acids and folic acid. I have heard of mashing it up and using it as a face mask to help keep your face smooth and wrinkle free, but have you heard of a hair mask? This time of year is when you need it the most because of the cold dry hair. It does more damage to your hair and its follicles than you know. Give those tresses the attention it deserves, and at home!
The avocado is full of oils, minerals, vitamins and moisturizers. To make an avocado hair mask, just follow these directions and you will notice the silky, shiny hair that a lot of women long for during these months of cold. This will also strengthen your hair and help to get rid of dry, itchy scalp problems.
Take one small, ripe, (but be careful it’s not overripe) avocado, mash it together with one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of olive oil. Blend them together. Apply to damp hair for at least 30 minutes, make sure it is on your roots, then rinse and shampoo thoroughly to make sure all the avocado pulp is out. This recipe works on all hair types.

I hate how dry my hair and skin are in the winter. Looks like a good one to try.
