Jewelry couturier Azature — the self-described “Black Diamond King” — is now producing a one-of-a-kind bottle of diamond-infused nail polish. This extravagant lacquer contains 267 carats of black diamonds and has a hefty price tag of a quarter of a million dollars.
“One day I thought, ‘Why not showcase this style on nails?’ So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewelry in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond,” he said in a press release.
However, for the rest of us 99%, we were not forgotten. Azature is also offering a department store version for $25. According to an Azature spokesperson, this wallet-friendly version has a real black diamond in each bottle. It is currently available at Fred Segal.

That’s crazy. I’m not sure I’d spend $25 on black diamond polish, I never wear black nail color, but knowing diamonds were on my nails is kind of fun, so maybe.

No way, even $25 is too much for me personaly. What about when it chips or you want a color change seems like frivolous waste of money especially when there’s so many other inspiring ways it could be used.
