Everyone should quit the bad habits they have in their lives and yes, it may be easier said than done but, even making small changes can do the world of good and get you heading in the right direction.

Excessive Drinking
Drinking that leads to a hangover is classed as drinking in excess and you should really be avoiding it. It can be easy at times to go overboard and drink more than you should, and you definitely feel it the next, but you shouldn’t be making a habit of it. Although e-cigarettes aren’t exempt from being classed as harmful, they have been used as a step in between smoking cigarettes and quitting for good. It doesn’t matter how many times people are warned about the risks associate with unsafe sex, people still do it. Although making changes to your bad eating habits isn’t a bad thing, in fact, it’s one of the best things you can. You should always make sure you avoid constantly yo-yo dieting. It’s not good for you can actually cause more harm than good. Yo-yo dieting is when you start a diet that is extremely restrictive and then stops as soon as they have started. This is not a good routine to get into and is awful for your health. You will more often than not, find that yo-yo dieters put back on the weight they have lost and some. This then spurs them in a bad cycle where they feel like they’ve got try dieting even more because their weight has rocketed and all they seem to do it a diet. This is when you will hear people saying ‘nothing works for me’ or ‘ I just don’t get on with dieting’ This is because to maintain and gain your healthy weight for your BMI and activity levels, you need to focus on eating a balanced, varied and moderated diet instead of a restricted diet. Nothing should be off-limits or banned it should instead be consumed in moderation and on occasions.
Being Inactive
Yes, getting rest and relaxing can be good for you but too much can have a negative impact on your health. Referred to as being ‘ a couch potato’ someone who doesn’t move very much, is when you spend too much time being inactive and it starts to have health implications. You should ideally have at least 150 minutes of exercise per week, or 75 minutes of high-intensity activity. Try to include a mixture of cardio and strength training, set yourself reminder to move and making an effort to move more often. Things like smartwatches are brilliant for tracking your movement and helping you set reminders to get up and move each hour.
