When Girl Meets 30

Best Budget Eye Cream

April 14, 2011 By Erin Kennedy 7 Comments

We have talked about how important it is to wear eye cream in our 30s. A Surefire Way to Look Older Sooner. In fact, if you are in your 20s, you are doing yourself a huge favor by starting early.  I love Lancome. You may or may not know that. But you have to know, I have never actually purchased an eye cream from Lancome because it is physically difficult for me to shell out that kind of cash right now for a .05 ounce of cream for $65 to over $100! I do however, have a bunch of creams because I take advantage of the free gift, and they always throw a couple in there. But I do know that those free gifts come with a pesky little catch of minimum purchase, and sometimes it is not the cheapest.

So what do you do when you can’t afford department store creams? Are less expensive creams even worth it? And will they even do anything? Here is a list of some great eye creams that can fit into any budget and keep you looking young and beautiful for years to come without breaking the bank.

RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream

Roc Retinol Correxion has been awarded at the 2006 CEW Beauty awards for best eye cream under $20.00. From the official website it promises:  “brings the #1 anti-wrinkle cream in France to the U.S. RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, a breakthrough treatment clinically proven to give 10 years back to the look of your skin.”
Can be found from $10-20.

Burt’s Bees Royal jelly eye cream

Burt’s Bees Royal jelly eye cream. This eye cream is fantastic for the price. It has some fantastic reviews and lots of vitamins. Here, it’s blended with rich beeswax, soothing aloe vera gel, apricot kernel oil and vitamin E.

Thanks so much for this post! It’s a toss up between Olay, Burt’s and Neutrogena as I like all of those brands. Thanks again, this makes me feel much better! :)

I like the Olay cream – especially as I can pick it up at the local coles when I do the grocery shopping.

The price of the Somaluxe Triple Collagen Eye Gel so was low – I was thinking it was not going to do much. I have purchased very expensive anti aging cream that didn’t come close to what this product did. Im so glad I tried the Somaluxe Eye Gel because I am a 47 year old woman and was not expecting a miracle. I found myself looking at my face before foundation and thinking that I really didn’t need it.
