If you are planning on making dinner for Mother’s Day, or your husband wants to make dinner, but he has no idea what to make, then you have to make this creamed corn! I never thought I would like cream corn until my Husband, who is the pickiest eater on the planet, had me try it. It is a must at our house for special occasions. I was going to make it for Easter and I could not find my recipe anywhere. I decided to just find it online since everything is there. I could not find it ANYWHERE! So if you want to try something new, or make the best creamed corn you have ever had then here is the recipe. I don’t mind sharing when it is this good.
Ingredients:
-20 oz. frozen corn
-1 cup heavy cream
-2 Tbs butter
-2 Tbs sugar
-1 tsp salt
-1/4 tsp white pepper
-1 cup whole milk (or half and half if you like your cream thicker.)
-2 Tbs flour
Directions:
In a pot over medium heat add corn, cream, salt, sugar, pepper butter. In a separate bowl mix together milk and flour until flour is dissolved and stir into corn mixture. Cook over medium heat until corn mix is thickened.
