Bobbi Brown started her line back in 1991 when she felt that the lipstick colors were lacking and not that flattering. Bobbi started with 10 shades that had a brown base because she felt it was the most flattering to a women’s skin tone. After a quick mention in a magazine, she had phone orders for her product that she could barely keep up with. It was once Bergdorf Goodman took notice is when her line launched and she hasn’t looked back.

I love the 1991 colors! The newer colors aren’t my personality but they are gorgeous! As for the price? Well, I think its a beautiful array of colors for a pallette, and it IS Bobbi Brown, so considering all that, I’d say its a good price!
