Today is National Garlic Day, and there is no better way to enjoy some delicious garlic than to pair it with some cheese and bread. This cheesy bread is not just slapping some cheese on a piece of bread. There is the love of cheese that has to go with it, and even with that BS, you can’t go wrong with this recipe. There are certain ingredients that make this garlic cheese bread ooey, gooey and bubbly. In fact, I just recently found out the recipe that I could only find at the best garlic bread restaurants.
There are two surprise ingredients that makes this cheese beyond cheesiness, melty and yummy. Butter and mayo.
Now, as you can see, this is some divinely delicious looking garlic texas toast. But if you think that I did anything more than take this out of a bag and place it on a baking sheet, then you don’t know me yet. Sure, you could go the long route and make your own garlic bread and all props to you. I prefer to just use pre-made texas toast.
I found this texas toast in my grocer’s bakery and it was not frozen, but you can buy the frozen kind too, just let it thaw a bit.

I would NEVER have guessed! I usually get the premade stuff, but it’s never good enough. I am going to make this from now on; thank you SO much for sharing this! Pinned it, too :) Have a great weekend!
