It’s Friday. Time for a cocktail. It is a rude awakening when Halloween, daylight savings is the same week and knowing that Thanksgiving is only three weeks away.
We know that I am trying to watch my weight, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to satisfy my sweet tooth and a need for a nice drink on the weekend. This recipe knocked my socks off and I didn’t even go over my points for the day drinking it. If you can find a caramel vodka, you will want to make this stat!
Dutch Root Beer Float
2 oz. Caramel vodka or Vanilla vodka
1 scoop hard vanilla frozen yogurt
6 oz. chilled diet root beer
Directions: Add the vodka directly to a tall glass, then top with root beer, and lastly the ice cream (add slowly, as it has a tendency to overflow). Garnish with a long straw and enjoy!
Depending on what frozen yogurt you use, this treat can be only 5 points. Worth it for me!
