Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend and sometimes we don’t have a lot of time. Whether you are hosting the party or just need to bring something for a pot luck, it is nice to know of some easy recipes that you can whip up, but will also have the whole crowd begging for the recipe.
BBQ Meatballs
Costco and Sam’s club have some delicious already made meatballs in their frozen section. Or any other grocery store will have them too, but I like the taste of Costco the best.
Empty the frozen bag of meatballs into a crock pot or large pot. Add bottle of bbq sauce and small jar of grape jelly. Cook in crock pot low for 7 hours or high for 2 hours.
Pasta Salad
1 box of tri-colored rotini pasta. Cook in water until al dente. Rinse and let cool.
Add 1 bottle of Italian dressing. I like Kraft light Italian.
Sliced cherry tomatoes or regular tomatoes.
1 can sliced olives.
1 sliced cucumber
2 oz. crumbles feta cheese
Toss together and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
Queso
One large package of Velveeta (1 pound) cut into chunks. Add to crock pot or large pot. Add 1 can Rotel tomatoes and 1/8 cup of milk. Warm until melted together. You can also do a meat queso. Just add 1 can of meat chili. You can add more milk if needed to get the desired consistency.
Don’t forget the tortilla chips!
