When Girl Meets 30

Fashion Trend – Wedge Sneaker

May 3, 2011 By Erin Kennedy Leave a Comment

The latest shoe trend for fall 2011 is the wedge sneaker. There has been a lot of talk about these shoes and it is for both sides. Some people love the new style, and others would not be caught dead wearing these on their feet. I am undecided. I can see how they could be cute, I am all for anything that is going to elongate my legs and make them look thinner, but I can’t see what outfit they would look good with besides work out gear. They don’t seem to be the best idea to wear to the gym, unless you want a broken ankle.
DKNY Women’s Regina Sneaker $79.00

See by Chloe Wedge Sneakers $349.00
Tsubo Women’s “Fadir” Wedge Sneakers $95.00

Ash Black Wedge sneakers $200.00

What are your thoughts? Will you be rockin this look after they appear on runways this fall? Or, is this a fashion fail?
