When Girl Meets 30

Giving Back This Season For a Good Cause and a Cute Shirt – Paper Clouds Apparel

December 6, 2011 By Erin Kennedy 1 Comment

Do you have that friend who has everything but appreciates good art? Well tis’ the season to give them something that is awesome and also supporting a great cause. Paper Clouds apparel is a non-profit that focuses on kids with special needs. The unique part about this program is that all the art on the shirts is created by the kids.

Paper Clouds Apparel was formed to showcase the creative minds of individuals with special needs while raising funds to support the schools, learning centers and habilitation centers they attend. “Helping others has never looked so good”

Orange Blossom

Robert Thornton is the owner of the inspired clothing line. His mother worked for a special needs school and she would occasionally take home some of the artwork that the kids would draw for her. Robert saw the art and was inspired on how great and artistic it was and wanted to give back. He decided to put the artwork on the t-shirts and give the proceeds back to the kids.

All shirts are made from bamboo material so it is really soft and great long lasting material. You can choose from different colors, designs from the artists and crew neck or V neck. Sizes range from XS – XL.

I can’t forget to mention the best part. The shirts are 20% off for the holiday season. Anywhere else, bamboo shirts go for a minimum of $34.00 but you can get these shirts for $25.00 – $28.00! Help Paper Clouds give a big check to the kids for Christmas.

The designs are so cool. They also have shirts for men.

Make sure to check them out and share with your friends. This really is such a great cause and super cute shirts. You will be helping kids and bring a smile to their face because they know that their art made a difference in your life. Check out the website and Facebook page. You can even show support just by liking Paper Clouds Facebook page and spreading the word.
