Have kids? Or even some naughty pets that get into your permanent markers and make a mess? Don’t throw your items away, because there are ways to get permanent marker out of anything.
Yes it’s true! From clothes to walls, there is always something that can be used to get that black mark out.
Clothes – Squeeze a quarter size dot of sanitizer to the stain and rub to remove like a stain remover. Rinse and repeat until stain is removed. If that doesn’t work, you can try the milk method.
It may take you a gallon of milk to use this technique though. You will need to pour some milk in a bowl and soak the item in the milk overnight or at least for five hours. Once it has soaked, get an old toothbrush or some kind of brush with bristles and dip the brush in the milk. Then rub the stain until the stain is gone. Once the stain is gone, wash the material in the washer machine.
Walls – There are two items that will work to remove the colors from your wall. You can spray some hairspray on and wipe while still wet. Or put some toothpaste on the mark, and rub until removed. Repeat if necessary.
Wood – Rubbing alcohol works best for removing permanent marker from wood. Just test it on a space of your wood to make sure it doesn’t remove the stain.
Carpet – Spray plain white vinegar onto carpet and rub with wet rag. Again, try to test on an area to make sure it doesn’t remove the color from your carpet.
Furniture – For fabric furniture, the milk method works here also. Just soak a rag into milk and scrub the stain.
White Board – This is fairly simple. Try a pencil eraser, or just draw over the marker with a dry erase marker and it will wipe right off.
Glass or Ceramic – Mix 1 part toothpaste with 1 part baking soda in a bowl. Use a tooth brush to brush the mark off the glass.

Another use for Dryer Sheets……we use them in our camping trailer to keep the mice out. We put them in drawers, in the beds, and in every cabinet. No mice anywhere!!! A whole lot cheaper than the rat poison. Plus, it doesn’t kill them, they just stay away.

Please repeat the way to clean your washer of the smell it gets after using for a while.
