Kids Grow Like Weeds: How to Make Clothes Last

February 10, 2011 By Erin Kennedy Leave a Comment

We all know kids grow like weeds. It seems like you buy a super cute outfit and they can only wear it one time before it doesn’t fit them anymore. Seems like such a waste, and money down the drain. Rufflesandstuff.com has written two blog posts that show you how she makes her daughter’s clothes last. The author, named Disney, has a “making her stuff last” post part 1 and 2. Disney has so many cute ideas for shirts, skirts, and pants that she has created. It looks simple to do if you have a sewing machine. Some of her ideas don’t even require one. Disney also has some great ideas for covering up stained shirts. Sometimes just adding a ruffle can make all the difference. A little money saved doesn’t hurt too much either.
