French actress Marion Cotillard, 36, covers the August issue of Vogue and is staring in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises. Marion was also in Contagion, Nine, Midnight in Paris and Inception with hottie Leonardo DiCaprio. Marion is in such high demand as an actress right now that director Christopher Nolan delayed production of The Dark Knight Rises while Marion was pregnant to ensure that she would be in his film rather than replacing her with a different actress.

On shooting a movie as a new mom: “I’ve never been more exhausted. But I’ve never had more energy. This is the paradox of being happy. That’s where it comes from.”
On being fascinated by her parent’s theater friends as a child: “All my friends, their parents had jobs that were very repetitive—they would do every day the same thing. But my parents’ friends would go to a little town in France, the next day they would be in Peru, the next day they could be in Hong Kong. They were artists. They had freedom.”
‘Dark Knight Rises’ director Christopher Nolan on Marion: “She gave birth and was back on set almost immediately. She’s Superwoman” he says. “The word challenging is thrown around as some kind of pejorative to mean an actor who’s difficult. But Marion is challenging in the true sense of the word. She’s so good you don’t want to waste that talent. You want to hold up your end.”
Director Rob Marshall on Marion: “Marion can mine something that most actresses can’t—that quiet vulnerability.”

I absolutely LOVE this woman. Not only is she just purely beautiful, she also is a FANTASTIC actress. EVERY movie she’s in-she’s more amazing than the last. This woman just doesn’t know how to stop being wonderful. :) lol I’m very happy for her success! :) woo! :)
