The weekend is here and I am so thankful. Except, I didn’t get much sleep last night because my poor hubby has been sick (I think strep throat) and yada, yada, yada, I’m really tired today. Except instead of yada, yada, yading sex, I am yada, yada, yading snoring. Not fun times. Trying my hardest to get him better, and trying my damnedest to make sure I don’t get sick. When I get sick, it takes weeks to get better and I always end up at the doctor a few times. So with this bug going around his office, I am disinfecting everything and downing zinc and emergen-c like it’s water, or in this house; wine.
I have to make sure we are at our healthiest because the Philadelphia Eagles are in town to play the Arizona Cardinals tomorrow and that means super fun time tailgating, and with that comes a lot of beer drinking. My Husband is a huge, HUGE Eagles fan, so he will be showing his excitement by downing a few beers, and I may as well join him. That is what a good wife does right? Besides, with the whole getting pregnant sitch coming down the pipeline in a few months, I gotta get my drink on because it will be quite awhile before I can down some good beer at a football tailgate.
Here are my currents for this Saturday:
Time: 4:25 p.m.
Place: Home
Eating: Caramel squares that I will be using in a Pioneer Woman brownie recipe that am making for the tailgate tomorrow.
Drinking: Water
Watching: Seinfeld – Hence, the yada, yada reference. Get it? Okay, never mind.
Reading: About how to train for a 5k. Been too long. TOO LONG.
Wanting: To take a nap.
Thinking: I better stop eating these damn caramels.
Creating: This blog post, duh.
Hoping: I am not too hungover on Monday.
Needing: To start writing my Sunday Brunch post, upload my Love for 30 Project post for Monday, go to the store, and make those damn brownies before the sun goes down for better photos.
Wishing: I wasn’t annoyed with Google Adsense.
Listening: To my cat’s water fountain flow. Yes, we have a running water fountain for them. We don’t have kids yet, so why not spoil them?
Feeling: Like I want to nap and not do any of the “Needing” things.
Wondering: How long I will procrastinate.
Loving: My Kitties.
Happy Saturday!
My Currents for this Saturday: And Some Cute-Ass Kitties
Wesley, Red Tabby and big brother. Sophie, Calico and little sis.
But they’re not related. Just best friends.
