Being a first-time mom, I had no idea what I was doing with anything. Let’s just say that having a child was a journey that I could have never imagined.
With being the first time mom, I got a lot of advice on the best products to buy. Now, over two years into this mom’n thing, I know what I like and what worked for us. And some items I was told were a waste of money ended up being things we couldn’t live without.
Same goes for name brands. We heard all the advice, and we tried so many different brands on different items and I know what worked and what I like.
For diapers, Pampers is the best brand for my baby. It has always done a great job with trapping wetness and I always felt they were sturdy and could last for hours.
I also use their sensitive wipes. My daughter, just like my husband, has sensitive skin. So many other wipes would actually break her out in a small rash. The sensitive wipes were a lifesaver.
But now, Pampers has made this mom even happier. They have introduced Pampers Pure diapers and Aqua Pure wipes. These new diapers are made without:
- Chlorine bleaching
- Fragrance
- Parabens
- Natural rubber latex
- Any of the 26 allergens identified by the European Union
They still have everything that I love about Pampers and are made with oft plant-based fibers, and other thoughtfully selected materials. They still have the wetness line indicator, the cutest prints and the best (IMO) top absorbent sheet!
The wipes are equally deserving of attention. When you have children, you know the importance of having a good wipe around, and now that I have Pampers Aqua Pure wipes made with 99% water, I can use these wipes on her face, hands and bum without worrying about what I’m using on her skin. Having a good wipe is essential for getting through a day with a toddler.
But don’t take it from me, hear what the scientist/mom who created new Pampers Pure diapers has to say:
“As a scientist at Pampers for 12 years, I spent my days creating and testing new diapers. Then, I became a mom… to preemie twins. I think becoming a mom changes everyone in different ways, and as I sat in the NICU and saw those tiny little diapers on my girls’ fragile skin, I realized I was in a unique position to help improve the product which was so critical to their care. When we left the hospital three weeks later, I felt nervous, yet hopeful.
When it came to their diapers, there were some things I had to have – no one likes a leaky diaper! And some things I just wanted, like cute prints. I also started paying more attention to ingredients – approaching everything in moderation – doing my best to avoid fragrances and unnecessary materials where I could. I quickly realized that the “nervous yet hopeful” feeling is just part of being a mom.
These experiences stuck with me as I returned to work and helped guide me as we created the new Pampers Pure Collection of diapers and wipes. I hope you’ll love them as much as I do! Now I just need to convince my husband to have baby #3.”
Now where to find these fabulous diapers and wipes? You can get Pampers Pure diapers and Pampers Aqua Pure wipes at your local Sam’s Club.
