When Girl Meets 30

Paper Pom Pom’s Decorations – Martha Stewart

June 20, 2011 By Erin Kennedy Leave a Comment

My best friend and I recently threw a baby shower for one of our besties. Our girlfriend is having a boy so my best friend made these adorable hanging pom poms in blue and white over the table where we served the food. They are so cute and would be perfect for any type party you might throw. Here is step by step instructions for the Queen herself, Martha Stewart. They are so easy and really help bring the festive look into the room.

Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inch-wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold

Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes.

Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.

Bend wire into a loop to fit around napkin, and twist end around loop to secure.

Instructions and pictures thanks to Martha Stewart
