Saving Money at WinCo with #Ibotta & $50 Giveaway

Cereal, one of my favorite things to eat. For me, it is always a special treat because when I was growing up, we didn’t eat a lot of cereal in our house. I ate a lot of oatmeal or I would eat at school.

However, my mom always made cereal a special treat for us. On our birthdays, my brother and I were able to go to the cereal aisle at the grocery store and choose whichever cereal we wanted for our special day. That box of cereal would only be for the birthday kid. It was all ours while it lasted, and no one else could have any of the delicious goodness. I remember that I would jump out of bed in the morning before school, because I was so excited to eat my special cereal that was waiting for me.

The cereal I would always, always choose was Lucky Charms™. I loved that cereal growing up and if I ever had the chance to eat it, I would. I remember at sleepovers, my girlfriend’s parents would always offer to make pancakes or french toast for us, but if I knew that there was Lucky Charms™ in their pantry, that is what I was going for. Now as an adult, I am all about crunch. Anything crunchy and you have my heart. One of the staples in my house as an adult is Cinnamon Toast Crunch™. My husband loves to eat it dry just as a snack, and I love to add the cinnamon goodness to a healthy snack to add some much needed crunch.

One of my favorite snacks for breakfast is a “healthy sundae.” I’ve even occasionally enjoyed it as an after dinner dessert.
