Sunday Brunch: Breakfast Banana Splits

March 25, 2012 By Erin Kennedy 1 Comment

Banana splits for breakfast? Um, yes please! I think this is a healthier version, so that makes it justified right? This is such a cool idea and perfect for a light and “healthier” brunch (at least a little healthier than what I usually post on Sundays.) The first day of spring started this week, so it is a perfect Sunday breakfast to eat in the sun out in the backyard and soak up some needed vitamin D.

All the credit goes to Bridget at her blog Bake at 350. This picture is awesome and it looks so yummy! This is an easy recipe, and if you want to see more details, or more of her amazing pictures, be sure to check out her post.

1 banana
Greek yogurt
sliced strawberries
Nutella
chopped nuts, toasted

Cute banana in half lengthwise and use an ice cream scooper to add the yogurt on top. Add your toppings and you have a delcious breakfast Sundae. Yummers.
