It’s about time that I featured a cocktail for Sunday brunch! It’s a given isn’t it? At least it is for me, and food can almost be an after thought……..Okay, not really. Breakfast foods and cocktails are together in harmony for this day and that is a match made in heaven if you ask me.
This punch looks refreshing and delish, it’s a must for your next spring Sunday brunch.
Pomegranate Champagne Punch
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup pear nectar
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
1 bottle (750 ml) Champagne
Directions
In a large pitcher, combine pomegranate juice, pear nectar, and orange-flavored liqueur. Slowly add Champagne. Serve over ice.
Cook’s Note
We used Champagne in this punch, but other sparkling white wines, such as Prosecco, are equally festive and just as good.
