I am always looking for those little easy tips that will melt the weight off effortlessly. There are not too many, but every once in awhile I will come across a tip that is just awesome. I am not sure why this tip is not more well known, but maybe I have just been out of the loop. I am running to Cinnabon as soon as I am done with this post!
Cinnamon breaks down blood sugar that could turn to fat. It also helps lower blood glucose levels. Too much blood glucose creates insulin that flows into the blood stream and turns excess calories into fat.
The best way to get your cinnamon is to sprinkle it onto your food. They say 1/4 tsp is sufficient, but you can use more if you like. I heard about a girl who who would take down 1/2 tsp of cinnamon on a spoon before each meal with a glass of water. Whatever works for you, but you have to make sure you do this trick everyday for it to be effective in losing weight.
Some ideas to sprinkle your diet (avoid these 4 diet mistakes) dust on: Cereal, fruit, oatmeal, drinks, smoothies, popcorn, toast.
*** Make sure you don’t use a cinnamon sugar mix or it will not be effective.
Do you have any other ideas on what to sprinkle cinnamon on?
Happy Dieting!

I love putting cinnamon in my hot chocolate when I want a special treat, or when I am trying to watch my weight I put it in my tea and it makes a big difference in the flavor. I feel like I am cheating.

I put cinnamon on my coffee grouds before i brew my coffee. It sweetens it so i can cut down on the added sugar. I trried putting right into the coffee but that last swallow is rough.

I have recently read articles about the benefits of cinnamon and honey. They instruct that you drink 1cup of water with 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tsp of honey on an empty stomach in the morning about half an hour before breakfast. I just started doing this yesterday, but am hopeful that it will be good for me! (it is a little gross, but could be much worse!)
