For the majority of the year, I tend to stay away from sequins. They just seem a bit much for me. My day to day just doesn’t lend itself to sparkle. This runs true for about 10 months of the year. The holiday season, however, is an entirely different story.
Who doesn’t love sequins during the holidays? With retailers bringing in fabulous pieces that stand beautifully on their own, sequins can be incorporated into all sorts of holiday events seamlessly, without feeling over the top. I highly suggest not wearing head to toe sequins as nobody wants to look like a disco ball. Instead, find that one sequin piece that you feel most comfortable in and then pair it with simple pieces, allowing your sequins to be the statement. Below are some suggestions of some great pieces that I think are fabulous for the holidays and can be kept in your closet for years to come. My favorite? I think the track pants. I may need to go order those…
