I’ve used TRESemmé for years on my hair. It has been one of the staples in my beauty closet to take care of my hair. I was asked to host a twitter party for TRESemmé and write a post to promote their #AmpUpYourStyle campaign and I jumped at the chance because it is already a brand I love and use on my hair everyday.
I can’t wait to see all the fabulous hair this year at the 2014 MTV VMA’s this Sunday, August 24th. I am really looking forward to seeing the famous artists and what they do to make their hair glamourous. I cannot wait to see what Lorde does with her long chestnut locks. Or how Beyonce will show off her beautiful hair in her fiercest way. Or what Nicki Minaj will style her hair to get heads turning. I think those three will be the winners of the best hair on Sunday night.
I’m hosting a Twitter Party along with #TRESemmé for their #AmpUpYourStyle campaign on Monday, August 25, starting at 6:00pm PST {9:00pm EST}
We will be discussing all things fabulous that happened at the VMA’s, all the gorgeous hair that we saw, and I will also be sharing some fabulous hair tips. But wait! I will also be giving out prizes!
I will be handing out 10 prize packs during the party (2 prizes per question.) Each prize pack will include:
- $40 Wal-Mart Gift Card (ARV $40)
- Two bottles of TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray, 8 fl oz (ARV $10)
To enter to win, you must join the conversation by tweeting an original tweet (no RTs) and include the hashtag #ampupyourstyle. Easy Peasy.
RSVP to the party by adding your twitter handle to the linky party below.
So you may not be on stage this year as the newest rock star (yet,) but that doesn’t mean you can’t look like one with the perfect DIY at-home blowout. It may seem intimidating, but in four easy steps, you can look like you just walked out of a salon.
1. To create the best full-blown volume for your blowout, thoroughly apply #TRESemmé 24-Hour Foaming Mousse to the roots of your damp hair. #ampupyourstyle
2. Clip back sections you’re not working on, and begin at the front. Working using two to three inch sections at a time. With a round brush, brush hair up and away from your face, pointing the blow dryer down, in the direction of growth, to avoid hair frizz.
3. Once you’ve dried a section, roll it under and pin it at the base while you work on the other sections. This will boost your volume and make your hair voluminous while allowing it to keep the sleekness you’ve created.
4. Run your fingers through it, and you’re done and ready to show off your star studded hair!
