When Girl Meets 30

Weight Watchers: Week 1

October 27, 2011 By Erin Kennedy 3 Comments

Weight Watchers week one. Some of you may know that I went on vacation on my week one. I decided to start the week of vacation so I could have some control of the calories I was going to consume.  I was happy to report that in only about 4 days I lost 3 pounds. I was super stoked about that.

I have never used the online Weight Watchers and I really like it. It can find any food. The database is huge. However, I didn’t carry my laptop with me throughout Vegas so I didn’t really have a chance to count my points. Not that it really would have mattered. I ate a lot of delicious foods but I was really good of sharing my meals.
One of my besties happened to be in Vegas at the same time and we shared a burger. Yeah, a delicious cheeseburger. It is the first cheeseburger I had in months. It was heaven, but glad to share with a good friend. But I did have my own beer. No sharing that thank you very much, even if my husband tries to sneak a few sips.
After a great trip, some amazing food and friends I was happy to see that I have only gained 3 pounds. So I gained exactly what I had lost. I will take it. I am happy that I did WW a few days before so I am not up 3 additional pounds.
Mohave Dog at Pink’s in Vegas. Shared with my brother luckily. It was Delish!
I need to get a hand held calculator. I think I can get one at the meetings for about $5. It will be a lot easier to use when I go out to restaurants and if I am out without my laptop.
On to week 2. I am trying to be good, but my brother is visiting and that can be hard to be good, but I am trying. Would love to lose those 3 pounds again.

Nice! Way to break even; I’m sure you will be reporting loss after loss soon.
