Egg whites, ham and cheese on english muffin. 7pts. Delish! |
Weight Watchers week 10. I can’t believe it has already been 2 and 1/2 months! Where does the time go really? I think the holidays are to blame for most of that, and they are also to blame why I have not lost as much as I wished at this time.
I am back on the wagon officially. It was not as easy as I thought it would be. It is so easy to say I will start tomorrow, or what is one more day of eating like crap? I am really bad at that. After eating so many delicious holiday foods, I wanted to just keep eating like that. However, the 6 pound weight gain was a wake up call, and I know I will just keep gaining and that will just make it harder to come off. My problem is the holidays, then my birthday is the beginning of Jan, so that is another excuse to keep eating bad, but I need to make sure I don’t get too distracted.
So, back to being good. I had my good days and my bad days this week. That is better than 7 bad days, so I am pretty happy about that. Only down 1.5 since I got home. That is a little disappointing since my when we went to Philly and I gained 6, I lost that pretty quickly, within the same week I started back on Weight Watchers. But, my lady times started, so that might be part of it too, so I am trying to not get too discouraged.
I am really excited to move into week 12. I will be juicing and getting on my vitamin regimen for part of my New Year resolution. I will be talking more about that on Monday with a post of my juicing party. I know that will help to get my weight loss (new science-backed research) on a kick start. I haven’t juiced for a long time, so I am excited to do that again, and it should be 0 points since it is all fresh fruits and veggies.
This recipe of cous cous is one o my favorite snacks. I just put in all the veggies I want like cherry tomatoes, cucumber, fresh herbs like parsley, scallions, mint. I sometimes will throw in a few almonds and golden raisins. 1 cup of cooked cous cous is only 4 pts. I will then squeeze some lemon juice and mix it up. It is sooooo good!

I’m on WW too and it was so hard to stick to it during the holidays with all of that good food. Keep focus and don’t beat yourself up. It’s the past and move forward from here. :) Great salad too btw! Happy New Year!
