Here is my weight watchers report of the end of week 2. Technically today is the beginning of week 3, but I am a little behind on posts, so here we go. I am happy to report that I have neither gained or lost weight. Why does that make me happy? Well, here is a clue.
Yeah, that cheese garlic bread does not really work out in the diet (avoid these 4 diet mistakes) department, however, lets get started on the excuses.
1. My brother was in town.
2. I have to show him all the good places to eat.
3. I only had a small piece.
4. To compensate I ordered a salad with dressing on the side.
This salad is delish. Grilled chicken and tortilla strips, pico. In case you live in Phoenix, this meal was eaten at Oregano’s. Mmmm, one of my favorites.
Thanksgiving is around the corner. Um, what the hell? I go to my in-laws in literally 2 weeks. I really can’t believe it. I wanted to have lost a little more weight than I have, but I can’t be too upset because I ate mostly what I wanted, and made some good choices, so I am happy that I didn’t gain any weight.
Let’s see what my husband ate at this meal.
I am showing this picture for 3 reasons.
1. I just got a new camera and I am loving the way this picture turned out.
2. I didn’t have one of these wings. Not really a fan.
3. My husband had this for lunch, ate most of the garlic bread and still lost 6.5 pounds for the week.
My husband wanted to try to lose some lbs before we went back to his home for thanksgiving.
He has been tracking his points when I figure them out for him, and he can not eat that healthy and lose weight (read the latest groundbreaking research).
Meanwhile, I have not lost or gained. But I am happy because I did eat a few things I shouldn’t have when my brother was in town and didn’t gain. So that is good. On to week 3.
I like the online system, but I thought for sure that once I signed up online, they would send all the paper information in the mail. I don’t know why I thought that, I just assumed. I feel as though I really need the book that has the points in them, and a the hand held calculator. So I decided that I need to go to a Weight Watchers meeting and pick those things up. Especially when I am out, or at the store. I don’t have my laptop with me, and I may need to look something up. I don’t know the points for anything with the new points plus. Before, I could do the calculations in my head, but with the points plus system, they don’t even use calories in their calculations, so really, I have no idea and I need to start memorizing what everything is. To figure out what a point is they use fiber grams, fat grams, protein grams and carb grams. I think once I can memorize what most things are that I eat, it will be a lot easier than having to look up every single ingredient to find out the points I am eating for that one meal.
My goal is to follow my points allowance exactly until I leave to go out of town for Thanksgiving. Hopefully I can drop a few. I am sure my husband will be down to skin and bones by then.

Hey girl, I know your frustration, I’ve been there. My husband loses so much faster than I do too!

It is so true. It is totally not fair. He doesn’t even need to lose weight (read the latest groundbreaking research). His Goal was 15 pounds and now he is half way there! UGH!

Sorry, but, I not only struggle with post pregnancy weight, but I have also just experienced an epic fail with weight watchers. After about 6weeks I became annoyed and anxious about having to have to input everything I ate after I had eaeten it. I did not find that there were any ways for them to help guide me to not ovfereat. I found very little guidance and a scheme to make money. As if the shame of seeing yourself overeat is enough, sadly, for me it is not. Sorry again. Hope it goes well.

Yea I truly don’t understand how men lose weight (read the latest groundbreaking research) so much quicker than women do! They say that they put it on easier than we do though…but I don’t know if I truly believe that! lol

I have never done weight watchers so I wouldn’t know anything about that. I do know from watching the Today Show last month either Nancy Snyderman or Joy Bauer said that the reason why men lose weight (read the latest groundbreaking research) more than women is because men have more muscle than women so that helps them with the fat melting effect. I say just don’t go by the number on the scale only but also by how your clothes are fitting because my scale is stuck on 185 yet my pants are getting looser! :-)
