This recipe is perfect for an end-of-summer brunch must-have and a Labor Day refreshing cocktail. This is perfect for today and tomorrow so you may as well make a double batch. With all that fruit, you are doing a body good. You may as well we a good doer during this long weekend. You have no excuse, it’s a short work week.
Fruity White Wine Sangria
1 bottle (750 ml) white wine
1/2 cup fine white sugar
1/3 cup lemonade or limeade
2 cups ginger ale (or club soda if you don’t want it as sweet)
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 lemon sliced
1 orange sliced
1 peach, pitted and cut into wedges
Directions:
Pour wine into a punch bowl or pitcher. Squeeze all citrus into wine. Add the fruit you just squeezed minus the seeds. Add sugar and chill over night. Before serving add soda.
If you want to serve immediately use chilled wine and lots of ice.
Serves 8-12
