These 6 items are what every gal in her 30's should have and use.

Moisturizer with sunscreen! This isn't make-up, but it is so important and a much needed base for your face before you put your makeup on. This is essential to you makeup bag and face. It can help your foundation rub on smoothly and help your powder sit naturally. And you should never leave the house without sunscreen. It will delay fine lines and facial age spot. Also, you can use the moisturizer to soften your chapped lips, and tame unruly eyebrow hairs.

Concealer. Use this to help hide dark circles and blemishes on your face. Apply a non-creasy eye cream, then use your ring finger to gently dab concealer onto dark areas. Allow it a minute to be absorbed, then carefully blend the edges into skin. The key is light pressure -- if you rub too hard, you'll actually rub the product off.

Tinted lip gloss. Lip gloss with some color in it can change your whole face to look brighter and put together. The gloss can sooth dry lips and make them look fuller and younger looking. Mascara. I think we can all tell when a woman is wearing mascara or not. It can really give your eyes a boost and make them appear bigger and sexy. You can be subtle about it and just put on a coat or two, or really make your eyes pop with a few more coats.

Blush. Do you remember your mother ever pinching her cheeks? She was trying to bring some color to her face and look refreshed and glowing. Blush can add so much to your look. It warms up your face and just makes you look pretty. If you need some extra color to your lips, you can pat some blush on them and cover with gloss, or chapstick.
