Father’s Day Man Bucket DIY & 3 BBQ Seasoning Recipes

Father’s day is coming up this weekend, and if you are still short on ideas on what to get the father in your life, why not put together a man bucket? It is easy to put together, it is full of their favorite things, and it is always a hit.

The best thing about a man bucket, is that you can customize your bucket to their liking. It can be anything from sports, puzzles, coffee lovers, technology or anything they love. I chose to do a bbq man bucket for my dad. He loves to bbq all summer any night of the week. He takes great pleasure in choosing his cut of meat, choosing the vegetables, getting the seasoning just right.

I know that my dad has a lot of his bbq essentials, but I knew that he needed some upgraded items and a few refresher pieces. I picked out some great bbq pieces and also included his favorite wine from Cambria. I could not forget the wine. He loves a cold white Chardonnay on a hot summer day to go with his bbq chicken like a Cambria Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay, and a smooth and delicious Cambria Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir to go accentuate with his perfectly cooked steak that he just took off the grill.

For my man bucket, I wanted to make it special by making him three special blends of bbq rub. That way he has three choices of different flavors to choose whatever suits his fancy, or fit whatever kind of bbq’ing mood he may be in.
