Getting a Full Night’s Rest with Breathe Right

March 15, 2016 By Erin Kennedy 18 Comments

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of TapInfluence for Breathe Right® nasal strips. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as compensation to thank me for my participation.

I have a confession. I can admit it. I snore sometimes. But I’m not alone. My husband also snores. If you were a fly our wall, it would probably sound like a few dump trucks rolling through.

We have both taken up wearing ear plugs, but honestly, sometimes those can be irritating for our ears, or they don’t always work or they just fall out. It is not so fun to be enjoying some wonderful sleep only to be awakened by the loudest sound coming from your significant other. I love my husband, but I sure am not a happy camper when his nasal congestion wakes me up. I am sure he feels the same way when he has left our bedroom to sleep in the guest room to get some sleep because of the sounds coming from my mouth.

I hate waking up and not having my husband there. And on the same note, I hate being woken up to what sounded like a train coming through the middle of our bedroom.

I needed to do something. We were both at the end of our ropes and neither of us were getting a full night’s rest. I didn’t want to have one of those marriages where we slept in separate rooms.

I’ve seen different solutions for nasal congestion but never knew what would really work. I know I’m not alone. An online survey by the Breathe Right® brand found that almost three-quarters of participants who share a bed with a mouth breather said they have been woken up at least once a night by their partner and their loud nasal congestion or mouth breathing.

I decided to try Breathe Right® nasal strips to see if it could help myself and my husband get a full night’s rest that we have been desperately needing. I loved that they are drug-free. The way they work is by lifting your nasal passages and opening your nose in order to help relieve nasal congestion. This can help you breath better, help prevent you from mouth breathing and help you sleep better – in turn, helping your partner sleep better.

Breathe Right® has different options to check out to fit your preferences. They even offer a calming lavender scent and an option for sensitive skin. I wanted to try the calming lavender scent. Lavender helps me sleep better, so why not try the extra help to sleep better. I am all for that.

My husband and I both tried Breathe Right® nasal strips and had a beautiful, uninterrupted, well rested night’s sleep. So from here on out, Breathe Right® is officially included in my nightly bedtime/beauty routine.

Breathe Right Nasal strips are super easy to apply.

  • Wash and dry your face. If you have oily skin, it is best to use an astringent.
  • Remove the liner and place the strip on your nose.
  • Press down ends and rub gently to secure.
  • We’re not the only ones, check out this video about Bob and Sandi:

These really help me when I’ve got a cold or allergy attack. I tend to use them in the daytime (when I’m not out in public of course! lol) They really do open up my nasal passages and help me breathe better!

I need to get these for my husband! He snores terribly, and it has only gotten worse with age. Sometimes I make him sleep on the couch. I have to get him some to see if this will help.

My husband tells me I snore sometimes, but I don’t believe him ;) Haha. I don’t think I’m too bad yet, but if I get worse, I’ll know where to turn!

I have to get some of these. The snoring is out of control at my house and these might help everyone get better sleep.

Thank you for explaining how to use these Breathe Right strips. My husband and I both snore too and I don’t function well if I don’t get a good nights sleep.

I have always suffered from insomnia and I have wondered if something like this would help. For some reason, I just haven’t tried it yet.

Love my breathe right! They are the only thing I use now, i do wish there was a kid’s version as I’d love my kids to have this same relief when needed.
