I have to say, these Johnson Bathtime wipes could have not come at a better time. My first born just turned 6 months old. Since I am a first time mom, I am nervous and conscious about everything she does and touches. At least that is what my girlfriends tell me. They all say that as I have more children, my worries and concerns for the little things, will subside a bit. But I don’t mind that I am “that mom.” For now, I am just living in the moment and enjoying being a first time mom with my first baby, and if I am a little OCD with some of the things, then hey, it’s my prerogative, right?
So, with my nervousness, I am constantly wiping down anything that my daughter may come into contact with. Tables at restaurants, chairs, grocery carts, you name it. Keep in mind, that she has just started sitting up, so she doesn’t actually really come into contact with much of those things. But she will. And soon. Like next week soon.
I have been wanting something like this ever since we went out of town so my daughter could meet all of her extended family and my old friends and their children. I noticed that a lot of people love to touch your baby. Even if they are not close friends or family. They touch her face, or kiss her face, or touch her hands or feet.
I may be a mom that is a little too cautious, but I think that I have reason to. When my daughter was just 3-weeks old, she got RSV. It was super scary and she had to be hospitalized. Needless to say, the last thing I want is for her to get sick un-necessarily. I know that it is inevitable for babies and toddlers to get sick, but if I can avoid some germs, I am going to.
This is why I love these JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE™ Cleansing Cloths. After we have met a bunch of people and they have all grabbed her, (I can’t blame them, she is adorable,) I wanted to give her a bath right then! But I know that is impossible, but I always want to wipe her hands before she gets them into her mouth. Which we all know, I don’t have much time. I want to wipe her down with clorox wipes, but that is not realistic. I don’t want her to put those chemicals in her mouth after I wipe her hands. And I never really know if using baby wipes are doing anything to clean her hands and face thoroughly.
I am so excited about these wipes. These are what I have been looking for. They are also coming to be just in time for when this baby is going to start solids. Since I will be feeding her three times a day, I am pretty sure it is going to be messy, and I am not going to be giving her a bath three times a day. These Johnson Bathtime wipes are perfect for a bath without having to give her a bath.
Johnson Bathtime HEAD-TO-TOE™ baby Cleansing Cloths are soft, thick cloths which are also twice* the size of average wipes. That helps to get a lot of area and you don’t have to use a lot of wipes. They are also designed to keep baby clean without the need for water. There’s no need to rinse, leaves no residue, and won’t dry out baby’s skin.
I love this because I also use these wipes to do a once over on my babe after we go on an outing. Since I live in AZ and it is the middle of summer, we both come home completely drenched in sweat. So cooling her off and wiping her down makes her feel better and she is clean and not sweaty.
I’ve used Johnson products ever since my daughter was born and one of the main reasons is because of all the research they do on babies sensitive skin.
- Johnson’s is the #1 baby skin care brand has has provided products for over 120 years!
- They are the 1st skincare company to study baby’s skin and how it develops from birth.
- Evaluates products with all types of babies skin, from different ethnicities and continents.
- They lead the field in science and global standard in baby skin care.
- They have helped advance 90% of research on the understanding of baby’s skin.
If you love Johnson like I do, or have never tried their products, I highly recommend this fab wipes. I will never go back! A staple in my diaper bag and kitchen!
