I have to say, these Johnson Bathtime wipes could have not come at a better time. My first born just turned 6 months old. Since I am a first time mom, I am nervous and conscious about everything she does and touches. At least that is what my girlfriends tell me. They all say that as I have more children, my worries and concerns for the little things, will subside a bit. But I don’t mind that I am “that mom.” For now, I am just living in the moment and enjoying being a first time mom with my first baby, and if I am a little OCD with some of the things, then hey, it’s my prerogative, right?
So, with my nervousness, I am constantly wiping down anything that my daughter may come into contact with. Tables at restaurants, chairs, grocery carts, you name it. Keep in mind, that she has just started sitting up, so she doesn’t actually really come into contact with much of those things. But she will. And soon. Like next week soon.
I have been wanting something like this ever since we went out of town so my daughter could meet all of her extended family and my old friends and their children. I noticed that a lot of people love to touch your baby. Even if they are not close friends or family. They touch her face, or kiss her face, or touch her hands or feet.
I may be a mom that is a little too cautious, but I think that I have reason to. When my daughter was just 3-weeks old, she got RSV. It was super scary and she had to be hospitalized. Needless to say, the last thing I want is for her to get sick un-necessarily. I know that it is inevitable for babies and toddlers to get sick, but if I can avoid some germs, I am going to.

I remember being so nervous as a new mom. I also remember doing the wipe bath method on more than one occasion! My daughter also had RSV, so I know how scary that can be!
Being a new mom is so scary! I remember those days well. I wish I would have had these wipes when my kids were small. They’d be perfect for those little (overwhelming!) messes that always seemed to happen at the worst times!
Those are so handy! There isn’t always time for a full bath when they need one, so these wipes are a great alternative! My hubs uses something like this in a pinch. He’s a trucker and occasionally gets stuck on location for extended periods of time.
