Finding that special someone can take time. And it’s great when you do. However, even the best partnerships can become tepid. But you can make an intimate relationship more fun.
Spice the Bedroom Up a Little
At some point, you will probably have sex with your partner. And this is one of the best ways to make a relationship more intimate. Seeing each other naked and doing what comes naturally is meant for each other. But everyone has different tastes and wants different things. And sometimes sex can become a little boring. So there’s no shame in wanting to spice it up a little. And this usually includes fantasies, role-playing, and attraction to a specific part of your body. A little dressing up, pretending to be someone else, and taking “feet pics” is fun and harmless.
Stay Apart for a Short While
When you’re in a relationship, you still need your space. That’s normal for pretty much everyone. Some couples can’t get enough of each other and spend almost all their spare time together. Which is fine. But you can really make your partner want you more and appreciate your time by willfully spending time apart. When you spend time apart, even for a day or two, you will come to realize how much you miss being together. Additionally, you just need some alone time anyway. A day alone will help you recharge and relax, ready to see them again.
Have a Better Intimate Relationship with Date Night
Staying inside with each other all the time can get a little boring. And Netflix can only entertain you so much. Also, you might not see much of each other because of work commitments. In either case, you can strengthen your relationship by scheduling a regular date night. This can be as intimate as a restaurant you can’t really afford or a trip to a local amusement arcade for a game of pool and some bad food. Whatever it is, use the time for fun and catching up. But you can also increase the excitement by getting ready for a glamorous night out separately.
Indulge Each Other’s Hobbies
Acceptance is a vital part of a relationship. And with the acceptance of a person comes what they love to do. Online gaming, playing tennis, or amateur photography. These are all common hobbies. And if you find your partner’s hobby boring, what better way to show how much you care than taking part or encouraging them? Of course, this is reciprocal, and your partner should appreciate your hobbies too. Even streaming entertainment is considered a hobby these days. So it’s a win when you get to do that after taking photos of the local insects all day.
Find a Fun Way to Drop the L-Bomb
Perhaps the scariest part of any relationship is saying that four-letter word for the first time. It can be as mismanaged as cliche marriage proposals. And frightening because you are never quite sure your partner feels the same way. So if you are the first to say it, you can alleviate some of the pressure by making it fun, at least. One of the best times to say it is when you are at your most intimate; making love. But there are fun ways such as decorating a cake, making a mixtape, or while doing something fun, like on a ride. Just don’t text it on your phone.
Being in an intimate relationship is one of the best joys of life. And you can make it more fun with bedroom entertainment, going out on date nights, and finding fun ways to say that word.
