New year, and new resolutions. Want to get rid of that bloat and detox all your holiday fare? Try this detox from Jillian Michaels.
This is not an eating detox, this detox drink is just an addition to your healthy diet (avoid these 4 diet mistakes) and exercise. This drink is helpful to reduce bloat and retained water. What that means is it helps to drop that annoying water weight.
Ingredients:
- 60 oz of distilled water
- 1 Tbsp cranberry juice (only cranberry juice not the juice cocktail!)
- 1 organic dandelion root teabag
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
1. Brew the tea as listed on the box and let it cool to room temperature
2. Mix all ingredients together and add the tea (once cooled)
3. Drink the entire mixture each day for up to seven days.
4. It needs to be a fresh batch each day.
****I liked the taste, but it can taste a little bitter. I added a little extra cranberry because I like the flavor and added a bit of Truvia Sweetener *****
