As some of you may know by now, I have been talking about getting pregnancy-ready in whatever terms that may be; mentally, physically and financially. The hubs and I have officially been trying to get pregnant, and there is a lot you have to think about, especially when you’re in your mid-30s like me.
I love to use apps to help me keep track of my health, my diet (avoid these 4 diet mistakes), my cycle and everything that I need to remember.
When planning to have a family, the importance of understanding our bodies is fundamental. It is something that we should feel confident talking about and sharing with other women. Discussing reproductive health should not feel shameful. It is nice to be able to share your questions and concerns with other women who may be going through the same thing, especially if conceiving has become difficult. Having a tribe of women on your side who understand what you’re going through can really help you go through the process, whether it is a positive or stressful one.
Glow is a free new app that I have discovered and there are two different apps to help you navigate and educate you. You have two choices:
Glow – an app that has three choices for your journey with your reproductive health. 1. Avoiding pregnancy. 2. Trying to conceive. 3. Manage fertility treatments. This is not just another fertility app, but an innovative health app to help educate you with the best and comprehensive information. When you’re ready to start trying for a baby, you will have all the tools you need in this app. Here are just a few key features:
- Innovative ovulation calculator and fertility charts.
- Period tracker with forecast of ovulation.
- Community support.
- Fertility treatment support for IVF and IUI patients.
- Set up reminders for your medication, contraception, ovulation, and menstruation.
- Refill your prescriptions at Walgreens or Duane Reade.
Glow Nurture – a pregnancy tracker app. Named one of 10 best iPhone apps of 2014 by many online publications. This app includes essential tools, daily logs and a large community with support. Some of the key features:
- Customization of your experience for your pregnancy.
- Alerts and insights based on your data.
- Thousands of articles on pregnancy and charts of data analysis.
- Best pregnancy tips.
- Unique medical log to track all your doctor’s appointments and medication.
I have really enjoyed using Glow daily as my fertility tracker, and I would also give it a 5-star rating that it currently has now. I look forward to having the chance to use Glow Nurture (hopefully soon!)
Whether you are thinking about having a baby, or are already pregnant, you should check out Glow for yourself and see all the tools and information you need for the health of yourself and your future baby.
Check out the app that I love and many other ladies do too by checking it out yourself and downloading either (or both) apps here!
Thanks to Glow for sponsoring today’s discussion.

I use a similar app. I also used the What to Expect app to connect with other moms who were due at or around the same time when I was pregnant. Good luck.
