Life can get crazy, stressful and sometimes hard to deal with. I know that we all deal with it differently. Some of us let it out all for the world to know, and some of us tell the world that everything is amazing, but they are using that mask the pain, stress, anxiety and hardships they may be going through.
When we need help and advice, sometimes it can seem that there is no one to turn to in hopes of getting some direction, understanding or empathy.
We all need to remember, that we are all going through something. But what do we do? Where do we go? Who can help?
A few weeks ago I wrote about a new website called Life Reimagined which is a new approach to helping you get through life’s obstacles. They use tools such as Life Coaches, online workshops, group events and support mixers. These tools have been developed by experts and doctors offering expertise in their fields to help us with issues we may be having with work, relationships, well-being and life in general.
I have been using Life Reimagined’s website and the tools for a couple of weeks. I have been using the modules, online workshops and I even had a candid and life important chat with a life coach. I wrote last month in my blog post about how to manage the whole work/life management. Being a full-time mom, and working full-time at home and feeling as though I am failing at both.
The coach I chatted with through our web cams was so helpful and showed me some insight of managing both. I have learned some skills on how to do both successfully and that I may actually be putting too much pressure on myself to be perfect, and I may actually be a pretty darn good mom and I may actually have a pretty darn good business.
My life coach told me that I need to stop dwelling on the guilt and focus on the good things that happen during the day with my daughter, and enjoy the small accomplishments with work that do happen. One that that really resonated with me is that she said:
“Focus on the priorities that are in the moment.”
She also advised that I try to limit distractions and time wasters. Focus on my daughter, and dedicate just a few hours a day completely to work once she is napping or in bed. Then stop. Try to dedicate 30- 60 minutes to decompress yourself. If you don’t give yourself time to yourself, you will always feel stressed and that you’re not giving enough time to anything in your life. Self-care is the key and giving up the guilt.
I felt so much better after chatting with her. I think that Life Reimagined website is amazing and can help so many people to get through whatever they are dealing with. From personal touches, to the workshops where you can work at your own speed, or out and meeting people in your community who understand and have gone through, or going through the same situation you are dealing with.
I can’t recommend this website enough, and I am still offering my readers 14-day trial AND a free 30-minute coaching session with a certified Life Reimagined coach of your choice. Start making your life better today with this free trial!
